In this thesis work, simulated and measured correlation coefficient and diversity gain have been studied and compared, under the assumption of the uniform distributed propagation model. The results confirmed the equivalence of correlation coefficient calculated from far-field patterns and from S parameters. Low correlation coefficient and high diversity gain are obtained in some placements of the diversity antenna. Improvement of correlation can be obtained from the implementation of the matching networks.
