SAMPLING RANDOM
英文原版电子书 电信系统采样相关 In practical applications, it is often necessary to reduce continuous data to a series of numbers, to sequences of voltage or current pulses, and to determine the statistical properties of random wave trains that are generated in the course of the communication process itself. Such situations arise in the reduction of continuous data for digital computation, in feedback and other control systems, in radar, and in various types of message coding, e.g., telegraphy, pulse-time modulation, and time-multiplexing systems. Other examples, e.g., shot and thermal noise, impulsive interference, etc., are provided by the characteristic noise mechanisms of the propagation medium and of the system elements themselves.
