分形天线 A systematic study of fractal antennas is undertaken with the aim of gaining an insight into their design procedures. The Koch curve, Sierpinski gasket, and Sierpinski carpet antennas of the dipole configuration and the Sierpinski gasket microstrip antenna are analyzed using numerical method, modeling, and experiments. Antenna parameters such as current distribution, input impedance, reflection coefficient, and antenna pattern are plotted and compared. The search for new fractal antennas begins with applying the design knowledge gained. Geometrical shapes are synthesized for their desired multiple bandwidth electromagnetic behavior. Two entirely new fractal antennas are proposed and analyzed using numerical method and experiment. Finally, a design example is demonstrated using a fractal antenna for dual band wireless application.
