Abstract—Three-dimensional reconstruction is an importan- t research direction of computer vision. The existing three- dimensional reconstruction method who based on the poor convenience and limited field of the foot-specific scanner, a three- dimensional model reconstruction method based on mobile phone photographing is proposed. The method is based on the two- dimensional image of the foot obtained by the mobile phone, and uses the reference system to acquire the corresponding parameters of the foot camera position by the SFM (Structure from Motion) algorithm to construct the three-dimensional sparse model of the foot, and based on the sparse model, the PMVS (Patch-based Multi View System) is adopted. The algorithm builds a dense model. The experiment proves that the method can construct the three-dimensional model of the foot easily and efficiently. This technology has broad application prospects in the fields of size recommendation, high-end customized shoes and medical correction. Index Terms—3D reconstruction, SFM, PMVS, personalized customization.
