NOTES: One of the "Whitechapel Boys", the publisher, John Rodker had a long career publishing radical, futuristic, and occult material. Best known as James Joyce's editor in Paris. His own publishing company, which survived between 1927 and 1932, was dedicated to expensive limited editions for a high end clientele. When that clientele dried up in the Great Depression, John Rodker folded his press and moved on to other
