Creating Function ModulesThis chapter will cover the topic of function modules and their role in R/3, from creating a function module to designing the function module around the function group. Since utilizing function modules requires a great deal of system overhead, the topic of efficient memory management within the function module will also be discussed. Finally, the concept of remote function calls is introduced, but will be covered extensively in Chapter 3.
