This book is for the professional developer. While it does include introductory sections, the pace of
the introductory material is quite fast and the novice developer will tend to become lost. The book
assumes that you have knowledge of the .NET Framework after working with C#. Some Windows 7
features don ’ t work well with Visual Basic.NET, so this book is written to use C# as the base
programming language. The examples do provide complete information on everything you need to
include in the source code, so your knowledge of the .NET Framework doesn ’ t have to be extensive,
but some knowledge is helpful.
