QoS HCCA TXOP TSPEC This paper presents a novel scheduling algorithm for HCCA (Hybrid Coordination Controlled Channel Access) access model of IEEE 802.11e.The aim of this algorithm is to enhance the QoS for the support the multimedia traffic. Compared with the scheduler proposed by IEEE 802.11e, the idea of this algorithm is to schedule Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) of variable length at arbitrary intervals and calculate the TXOP duration based on real time requirement of QATS. It can provide much better channel utilization, and improve the performance of WLAN
