OS 安装方法 安装和维护菜单选项一： Change Method of Installation Type the number of your choice and press Enter. 1 New and Complete Overwrite Overwrites EVERYTHING on the disk selected for installation. Warning: Only use this method if the disk is totally empty or there is nothing on the disk you want to preserve. 2 Preservation Install Preserves SOME of the existing data on the disk selected for Installation. Warning: This method overwrites the user (/usr), variable (/var), temporary (/tmp), and root (/) file systems. Other product (application) files and configuration data will be destroyed. 3 Migration Install Upgrades the Base Operating System to current release. Other product (application) files and configuration data will be spared. 88 Help ? 99 Previous Menu >>> Choice [3]: 1 选择安装和维护菜单中的选项一将进入安装方法选择菜单。 New and Complete Overwrite Install（完全安装） 在新的系统上，完全安装是唯一可能的安装方法。在现有系统上，如果想完全重写BOS，也用这种安装方法。 Preservation Install（保留安装） 系统上安装有以前版本的操作系统，并且要保留root卷组上的用户数据时，可以用保留安装。这种方法将删除文件系统/usr、/var、/和/tmp中的内容，但保留Paging Space、Dump设备以及/home和其他用户创建的文件系统。安装完成后必须重新进行系统配置。对于一个安装有AIX版本3.1或AIX版本4的系统来说，保留安装是默认的方式。 Migration Install（迁移安装） 这是升级AIX版本3.2以上到AIX版本4的标准方法。/tmp文件系统将会被重建，过时的操作系统文件和PATCH文件将被删除，新版操作系统文件被复制到硬盘上，相应的重名旧文件将被代替，除此以外，任何文件和文件系统被保留。对于一个安装了版本3.2及以上，版本4以下AIX的系统，这是默认安装方法。
