In this paper, we analyze the disadvantage of common generating test paper algorithms, an improved Particle Swarm Optimization is proposed and used in Auto-generating Test Paper Algorithm. We design the mathematical model of auto-generating test paper algorithm and improved the traditional PSO inertia weight to non-liner form. A computational study is carried out to verify the algorithms. It is proved that the performance of improved PSO can solve this problem efficiently.
