DCTools is Microsoft?Windows?based software for control and management of Eaton's dc power systems. DCTools allows the viewing, editing, and back-up of configuration file data. A communications connection from a PC running DCTools to a dc power system is controlled by the Connection Manager (see About Connection Manager). Connection Manager maintains a list of communication connections and activates the connections as required. The types of communications connection depend on the dc power system model and configuration. Refer to the dc power system Installation Guide for information (see Related Information). DCTools runs under Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7.
