tips on installing RSM host agent to UNIX OS (Linux, HP-UX, Solaris) 1. need to copy both the .jar file and setup executable to /tmp directory on the Unix server 2. change the permission 3. execute the setup. 4. to create Host Based Authentication on the RSM Host Agent you need to make a group named: hphaadm 5. make a common user (and set password) , make it member of hphaadm group. the rest of the process, to register the RSM HA, is done from RSM Server GUI, like the windows hosts. To check if the RSM Host Agent daemon is running in UNIX server, ps -es | grep HPRSMHA
