This software is accompanying the paper Real-Time Human Detection Using Contour Cues [pdf] Jianxin Wu, Christopher Geyer, and James M. Rehg The 2011 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation May 9-11, Shanghai, China, 2011. You are free to use it for Non-Commercial purposes, e.g. research and academics. However, please note that this software is provided "as-is", without any guarantee (explicit or implied). This software is developped and tested under Ubuntu -- make sure you have GNU make and g++ installed (version >=4.4). You also need to have the OpenCV package installed (thus also pkg-config). Then simply run "make" in the software's directory and you will be able to run the "./detect" command. For more information, please read the paper and comments in the code.
