Overview
To prepare for installation do the following:
1. Make sure the required number of computers are available.
2. Create a share on the file server.
3. Create user accounts for the NetInstall Services.
4. Assign file system permissions to users.
5. Check prerequisites for the installation of services.
Making Sure the Required Number of Computers Is
Available
To install NetInstall, you need at least the following:
• One file server. The first NetInstall Server will be set up on this file
server.
• One workstation for the administrator.
