StoragePack controls are used to save/restore application specific data. Possible target formats are the Windows Registry or XML files. Other key features are: Allows use of Windows Registry and general formats (BIN-, INI- and XML-files - more to come in future versions) Supports saving/restoring data to/from binary streams Allows storing of either simple data types like numbers, strings or more complex types like components or TPersistent descendants (whereby even nested properties are supported) Supports simple data compression for binary items Allows data encryption for binary data, either by using example component or own methods Allows encoding/decoding of simple data types: String & Integer (e.g. for password data) Supports Autoload & Autosave of component properties Properties which should be saved/restored are selected at designtime via a visual editor Allows simple addition of custom properties Includes component for simple saving/restoring of a form state Possibility of using property templates for components And much more...
