Data Collector (for short DC) is a powerful and easy to use personal database program, PIM and Rich Text editor to help you collect and manage all kinds of data. It is ideal for storing notes, emails, URLs, documents, files, etc. It features extended search, edit, export and import options. The user interface is a combination of a tree structure, a text editor and an attachments list. When you select a node, the information stored in the node will be displayed in the text editor and the attachments list, then you can edit it and save back to the node. All these nodes will be organized like a tree, in fact, the tree structure is stored in one database file, so you need not to save a lot of small note files in your disk. With DC's support, you'll find out your own unique way to organizing your data, if DC does not meet your need, please let me know and I'll be happy to incorporate your ideas into the software.
