Windows 10打开文件目录非常缓慢.
如下图所示,通常要加载十几,几十秒以上才能显示出来。
解决方法:
1. 在资源管理器中,点击 “属性" 会弹出窗口。
2. 选择 Customize 选项卡,
3. 在Optimize this folder for: 选择 General item 项
4. 再勾选 对空目录及子目录适用。
最后,再打开任一目录测试,基本上秒开。
终于大功造成了。

Hi,
When I open Downloads folder I have to wait for the content to load 5-10 seconds. When the content is loaded, it does not take so much time next time I try to open it.
Other sites suggests that changing the folder optimization to "General Items" fixes the issue. Unfortunately this is not my case. I still experience the problem after changing the setting. I reinstalled Windows 10 and still experience the issue.
Any thoughts?
Thank you
Jiri
各种解决办法:
I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.
1. Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.
2. Click on File Explorer Options.
3. Click on View tab.
4. Under Advanced Settings, uncheck the option for Show status bar.
5. Click on Apply and then OK.
Find the folder in file explorer
Right click on it and select 'properties' at the bottom of the pop-up window
Click on the customise tab
Change 'optimise this folder for:' to 'General items'
Not to be funny or assume anything here... but did you:
1) Tick the box to "Include Subfolders"
2) Click on Apply after changing the optimization to "General Items"?
If you did do the above, then I wish you the best of luck getting this fixed...
Solution to this problem here:
https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/slow-windows-downloads-folder
The article does not mention it but make sure to check the option "Also apply this template to all subfolders" in the Customize tab, following step 4 (Select "General items").
Here the complete set of instructions (if ever the link above stops functioning):
1. Open File Explorer. You can get there by hitting Windows Key + E or clicking on the explorer icon in your taskbar.
2. Right click on the Downloads shortcut in the right window pane and select Properties.
3. Navigate to the Customize tab.
4. Select "General items" from the "Optimize this folder for:" list.
5. Check the option Also apply this template to all subfolders. Then press OK.
I found a fix.
It appears that the download folder is optimized for videos or pictures, so you have to change that.
An easy fix was found here: https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/slow-windows-downloads-folder
In short you right click the download folder --> properties --> choose "Customize" --> change the optimize to "General items" and press apply.
Hope this helps!
If resetting the customization as described in previous tips didn't work, delete the hidden "desktop.ini" file in your Downloads folder. To see the hidden file, go to the view options and set the option to "Show hidden files, folders and drives", and turn off the option "Hide protected operating system files".
Once those options are set, you can find the "desktop.ini" file and delete it. After you delete this file, set your options back to normal and turn the "Hide protected operating system files" option back on.
Here's a step by step graphic to turn the option off:

The steps outlined at https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/slow-windows-downloads-folder helped me.
1. Open File Explorer. You can get there by hitting Windows Key + E or clicking on the explorer icon in your taskbar.
2. Right click on the Downloads shortcut in the [left] window pane and select Properties.
3. Navigate to the Customize tab.
4. Select "General items" from the "Optimize this folder for:" list.
5. Click Ok.
I had this same issue even with the optimize option set to 'General'.
What resolved it :- I unchecked 'hidden items' from view and then shorted the folder contents with Name columns. Closed the folder and upon click it opened up instantly
Now even with shorting with column 'Date created' it works completely fine and folder opens up instantly.
I hope this works for you as well.
For my part, I clicked on the "Restore Default" button which resolved my issues (a minute before I ***** my Surface in half).
