会在 /var/lib/mysql 里创建一个和数据库列表中同名的一个目录（实际上我们在该目录下创建一个目录时，使用 SHOW DATABASE 也会出现在数据库列表中，但是最好不要这么做）。
创建数据库的知识我们前面已经讲过了，这里只是做一些语法补充，其中最重要的补充就是字符编码和校验规则。
当我们创建数据库没有指定字符集和校验规则时，系统将会使用默认字符集 utf8 和校验规则 utf8_general_ci。
我们可以使用以下指令来查看系统默认的字符集和校验规则：

这两个设置的值会被存放在数据库对应的文件目录下的 db.opt 文件中。
1.1.字符编码
字符集的设置，关系到数据库未来如何“存储”或“表示”数据。

校验规则定义了字符的比较规则、排序规则、字符串的大小写敏感性等，影响数据库的排序、搜索、比较操作。
