一定要用Windows自带的记事本编辑 applicationHost.config

访问IIS时，发生了一个 HipIISEngineStub.dll不能读取的问题。（Windows Event可以确认）。

很容易在网上找到了对策，

Event log error is:

“HipIISEngineStub.dll failed to load. The data is the error.”

Edit the IIS 7.0 applicationHost.config file and remove the following configuration lines:

    Edit %windir%\system32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config as Administrator.
    In the <globalModules> section, remove the following line:
    <add name=”MfeEngine” image=”%windir%\System32\inetsrv\HipIISEngineStub.dll” />
    In the <modules> section, remove the following line:
    <add name=”MfeEngine” />
    Save the file, then restart IIS.

可是怎么编辑都没能解决问题。

终于， 想起自己4，5年前曾经遇到过这个问题， 有些文件只能用记事本来编辑的。 Notepad++ 或者 EditPlus是不行的。

If you're on a 64-bit architecture and trying to edit with a 32-bit editor (e.g. Notepad++) apparently you can't save the file. Try editing your file with the regular notepad that is shipped with Windows. Weird but it did the trick for me.

 

非常非常的恶心，如果保存不了，你可以出警告呀。 一切的一切都好像保存了似得，而事实上却没有保存。

我该埋怨微软还是编辑器 ？？ 太恶心了。 文件就是文件， 你他妈的还32位程序不能用来编辑？
