1. vim的代码现在可以通过 Mercurial 来获得，步骤如下
sudo apt-get install mercurial 安装mercurial
以后可用一下指令更新vim到最新版本
cd vim
hg pull
hg update
2 编译安装
cd src
make distclean # if you build Vim before
make
此时出现错误：

checking --with-tlib argument... empty: automatic terminal library selection
checking for tgetent in -ltinfo... no
checking for tgetent in -lncurses... no
checking for tgetent in -ltermlib... no

no terminal library found
checking for tgetent()... configure: error: NOT FOUND!
You need to install a terminal library; for example ncurses.
Or specify the name of the library with --with-tlib.
make: *** [config] Error 1
可以通过安装ncurses-dev来解决：
sudo apt-get install ncurses-dev
sudo apt-get install libncurses5-dev
继续make
make install
至此vim7.4 安装完成
3 安装gvim
gvim 需要vim-gnome支持:sudo apt-get install vim-gnome
gvim 安装完成
