bctester With bcTester you can read barcodes on images. You can test the kind of information contained in a barcode. In addition to usual (linear) barcodes, newer 2D barcodes (Aztec, Data Matrix, PDF417 and QR Code) can also be recognized. Increasingly, these codes appear whenever a large amount of data is to be encoded in a machine readable manner. National postal services use Data Matrix barcodes as electronical stamps. In addition, if you produce barcodes yourself, bcTester is an easy way to test their readability. QS QualitySoft offers bcTester as freeware. QualitySoft specializes in software solutions for barcode recognition and data capturing.
